Introduction

Allison reports on all things tech. She's a news junky that keeps her eye on the latest trends. Allison is a writer working out of Chicago, IL, with her only coworker: her cat Norbert.

Experience

Allison has six years of journalism experience. She was previously at Digital Trends, where she reported breaking news, industry trends, how tech influences our lives, and more. Allison covered Facebook's historic $5 billion settlement with the FTC, the Big Tech antitrust hearing, and closely followed the federal government's proposals on changing Section 230 and what that would look like for social media outlets.

She's also written for The Idea Forge, where she covered Chicago's tech industry and startup landscape. Allison spent nearly two years as a Senior Reporter at Chicago's oldest neighborhood newspaper, The Hyde Park Herald, covering politics, education, real estate, retail, and development.
